Wheelchair Van Rental

Renting a Wheelchair Accessible Van

It’s important to consider a few factors when  considering the right accessibility van for you. To make the best selection, it’s important to first know the dimensions of your wheelchair, scooter, or other mobility aids. Then you’ll need to consider the usual rental needs, like how many people you’re driving and other things you need to carry.

Wheelchair or Scooter Measurements

Height
Distance from the floor to the top of the user’s head while the wheelchair or scooter is occupied.

Length
Depth of the wheelchair or scooter from front to back, including the user’s feet and footrests, accessories, medical equipment, and any other protrusions.

Width
Distance of the wheelchair from side to side at the widest point, including arm rests or other protrusions above floor level.

Weight
Combined weight of the user and the wheelchair or scooter.

Travel Considerations
