We ensure accessibility in every build at Sunset Vans. Our vehicles are built to accommodate varying passenger capacities for wheelchair and gurney passengers.
Here at Sunset Vans, we want all communities that need an accessible transportation option to know we are working in their favor to make sure they are provided with the accessible modifications to thrive in today’s fast paced world.
We believe all veterans have the right to an equal opportunity to receive the care and assistance they deem fit, with access to the resources to do so. So, we are putting our best foot forward to pave the way to accessibility.
Sunset Vans is standing in support of the Shuttles 4 Soldiers organization, whose main intent is to provide modified, adequate, and reliable transportation to veterans.
Our veterans often struggle to attend appointments, meetings, and even court appearances due to the lack of accessible transportation available to them, leading to inevitable negative consequences as severe as displacement from their homes.
Together, Sunset Vans and Shuttles 4 Soldiers are combating the lack of transportation access for veterans in Riverside and neighboring counties. While Shuttles 4 Soldiers has a small pilot program serving veterans in Riverside County, their goal is to expand into additional geographical areas to aid more of the veteran community among us, and we want to help them work toward that goal.
We will be advocating with the Shuttles 4 Soldiers organization, working to open doors for a larger veteran population to access the transportation they need and deserve.
